As electrification of everything continues new conditions are introduced into our internal and local distribution systems that impact the reliability of our electrical and electronic systems and equipment. In this presentation we will discuss findings related to the interaction of electrical and electronic systems with each other within facilities and distribution systems. This will include power quality issues, grounding issues (including HRG/LRG), neutral issues, and other conditions observed through field studies with ESA/MCSA (electrical and current signature analysis). Several case studies related to the impact of these conditions on facilities and how they were mitigated will be presented.
