This presentation will explore how the Electrical Industry deals with electrical safety and the human factors related to on-the-job risks, especially electrical shock risk.  It will go over the effects of electrical shock on the body, person, family, and others; what the industry is doing to prevent Electrical Shock; followed by a review of North American safety stats on Electrical injuries. Another focus will be to discuss differences between Low-, Medium-, and High-Voltage Shock risk and resources available for technicians, including NFPA 70 E, OSHA, NETA and other avenues.
