This presentation will cover four specific maintenance procedures common to AC rotating machines within ANSI/NETA MTS-2023 that are generally underperformed. Using his experience in the Army as an example of this underperformance, the presenter will provide four case studies, wherein he will discuss the importance of using space heaters, of scrupulous regreasing measures, of installing and programming RTD alarm and shutdown functions, and of regular vibration analyses.
