This seminar focuses on the commissioning and maintenance testing of large solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Participants will learn essential skills and tools for troubleshooting components on the DC side, including PV arrays, diodes, and wiring. The course will address challenges such as connector mismatches and improper installations, which can lead to safety hazards and efficiency losses. Key topics include Grounding, Bonding, Insulation Resistance Testing, and specific troubleshooting techniques for ground faults and cable faults. Attendees will gain the knowledge necessary to safely and effectively maintain PV and BESS electrical assets.
